William Martin

William Martin has served as Chief Innovation Officer for the City of Racine since January 2019. In this capacity, William worked closely with Mayor Mason, the City’s Senior Leadership team, and a range of public- and private-sector partners to compete in the Smart Cities Council Readiness Challenge and win a 2019 North American Smart City designation—Wisconsin’s first.

Prior to taking on the role of Chief Innovation Officer, William served in several capacities for two Wisconsin Governors and founded a consulting firm that has advised over 100 public and private clients in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Over his career, he has helped raise over $600 million internationally for worthy human services and workforce development initiatives.
