Joe Dillon is President of InSinkErator, a business unit of Emerson Commercial and Residential Solutions, founded in Racine in 1938, and employing over one thousand people in Racine and Kenosha counties.
Joe recently moved to InSinkErator from another Emerson business headquartered in New Jersey, where he was also President.
He is excited to be leading the InSinkErator team as we continue to build on a long and proud history, from inventing the food waste disposer right here in Racine, to becoming the global leader in this appliance category, and continuing to increase the adoption of disposers around the world, improving quality of life and supporting sustainable environmental practices. While he is new to InSinkErator and to greater Racine, Joe is in his 20th year with Emerson and has held numerous leadership and engineering roles in manufacturing companies during his career.
He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, and a Masters of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
Joe grew up in St. Louis, MO, and has worked in Ohio, California, Minnesota, Connecticut, New Jersey, and now Wisconsin. He has four children, the youngest of whom have just graduated from college. Two of his children graduated from Wisconsin universities.
