As a Senior Developer and Database Administrator for the City of Racine, Thierno has been breaking down data silos and integrating systems for the past 12 years. He has been instrumental in the implementation and support of city-wide solutions in the area of GIS-based asset management, parking, finance, public safety, code enforcement, and environment health.
Prior to joining the City of Racine, he worked for 8 years as a Developer in database marketing, and as a Database Administrator. He has a keen interest in AI and machine learning.
Thierno earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Parkside, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Information System with a concentration in Research and Modeling Methods through his alma mater.
